Hualien Innovation Base Management Rules
Please read the following rules carefully before renting
- Renting the meeting room of this base (hereinafter referred to as the meeting room) implies agreement to comply with the relevant regulations. Please read through the Management Rules carefully.
- The meeting room is managed by the Hualien County Government Youth Development Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center).
- Rules for Entering and Exiting the Base:
- Prohibited items such as contraband, flammable, explosive, and other dangerous items, as well as pets, are not allowed into the base.
- Please keep your belongings safe, as the Center is not responsible for their safekeeping or any compensation.
- Meeting Room Rental Regulations:
- If you need to post posters or promotional materials on the walls of the meeting rooms or other specified areas, please consult with the Center. The Center will provide appropriate locations for posting. It is strictly prohibited to glue, paste, nail, or hang anything on the building surfaces without notifying the Center staff. If any damage is caused, the renter is responsible for restoring the original condition or compensating for the damages.
- The volume of activities should not disturb other areas. If violations occur and warnings are ignored, the Center reserves the right to terminate the event immediately.
- All decorations by the renter should be confined to the rental area and the designated areas by the Center. It is prohibited to place items randomly, obstruct the rights of other users, or distribute promotional materials and conduct sales activities in any area of the Center.
- The use of special effects such as firecrackers, confetti, glitter, sprays, smoke, fireworks, open flames, etc., is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use will result in cleaning responsibilities and full liability for any accidents caused by the renter.
- Eating and drinking are strictly prohibited in the meeting room (except for drinking water). The renter is responsible for cleaning if eating and drinking without permission occur.
- If there is a need for dining during the rental period, please inform the Center in advance, the Center will provide an additional space for dining.
- The renter must finish using the venue within the approved time. Extensions require the Center's approval.
- This center is completely non-smoking, please fulfill your obligation to inform; if the organizer or participants are banned for violating regulations, all fines will be borne by the renting unit.
- The renting unit and its contractors or construction companies should purchase relevant insurance as needed. Any property damage, personnel injuries,or improperly affect the conduct of meetings or activities of other venue tenants caused during construction or activities, the renting unit shall be responsible for all liability for compensation.
- The Center prohibits the publication or display of products with false origin labels, false advertising, counterfeit trademarks, or patent infringement in the Center’s meetings or exhibitions. Unauthorized reproduction, public performance, broadcasting, screening, or transmission of copyrighted works in the Center is also prohibited. The renting unit is responsible for all legal liabilities (The renting unit shall oblige its contractors or co-sponsors to comply), and if the Center is sued or suffers damages, the renting unit is responsible for all compensation.
- Removal of furniture and equipment from the meeting room without permission is strictly prohibited unless approved by the Center. Violators must bear all compensation and legal responsibilities.
- The Center reserves the right to amend these rules at any time for matters not covered herein.
- These rules are effective as of the revised version on December 27, 2023.
