The Hualien Innovation Base is the first youth entrepreneurship base established by the Hualien County Government. Located at No. 17, Hai'an Rd., Hualien City, Hualien County, facing the Pacific Ocean, it was originally a government office building. The county government secured its maintenance and management, renovating and repainting it while preserving its original charm. This transformation has revitalized the building into an innovation base, inviting young people to develop new ideas in this historic structure. It offers resident teams training courses, entrepreneurial guidance, business loans, and interest subsidies, helping Hualien's youth realize their dreams.

How to Get There

• By Car or Motorcycle: Enter the address "No. 17, Haian Road, Hualien City" into the navigation (there is a parking lot on the premises).
• By Train and Taxi: Take the train to Taiwan Railway "Hualien Station," and take a taxi from the taxi stand on the right side of the east exit to the address "No. 17, Haian Road, Hualien City." The journey takes about 12-15 minutes.
• By Train and Bus: Take the train to Taiwan Railway "Hualien Station," walk 3 minutes from the east exit to "Hualien Transfer Station," and take Ubus 1123 to the "Stone Sculpture Museum Station." The journey takes about 20-25 minutes, then walk 9 minutes to the Hualien Innovation Base.

Guidelines for Teams Entering the Innovation Base

Eligibility Criteria (Meet any one of three or four)

(1) At least one team member must be 45 years old or younger. (Mandatory condition)
(2) At least one team member must be registered in Hualien County. (Mandatory condition)
(3) Innovative enterprises or teams intending to expand or develop in Hualien County.
(4) Companies, businesses, or factories registered in Hualien County for no more than 8 years.

Categories for Application

(1) Physical Entry: Provides independent office space, public space, and co-working space, along with empowerment courses and consulting services.
(2) Virtual Entry: Provides public space, co-working space, empowerment courses, and consulting services; no independent office space.
