"2026 Taoyuan Social Enterprise Entrepreneurship Competition and the 11th Yunus Prize" Call for Entries
1. To encourage young teams to engage in social innovation, sustainable development, and local practice, this competition, organized by the Youth Affairs Bureau and the Social Enterprise Center of our government, aims to discover the innovative potential of youth, promote the development and impact management of social enterprises, and align with international trends.
2. The competition information is summarized as follows:
(1) Competition Features and Highlights:
1. This competition focuses on "from proposal to implementation, connecting with Taoyuan issues," combining competition prizes, empowerment courses, professional guidance, and resource matching to assist teams in transforming innovative ideas into concrete and feasible social enterprise solutions.
2. The competition offers a total prize of NT$570,000, and introduces resources such as professional mentoring, corporate matching, and international certification guidance to help outstanding teams expand their market, deepen their business models, and enhance their social impact.
3. The winning team in the social enterprise category will have the opportunity to participate in the "People and Planet First Certification" guidance, helping the team align with international social enterprise standards, enhance brand visibility, and sustainable development capacity.

(2) Eligibility:
1. Participants must be at least 15 years old.
2. At least half of the team members must be under 45 years old.
3. Proposals that have previously won awards cannot be re-entered.
(3) Competition Categories:
1. Social Enterprise Category: Use innovative business models to respond to local social issues in Taoyuan and propose social enterprise plans with sustainable operation potential.
2. Social Impact Category: Encourage organizations to inventory and present their created social impact, submit a social impact report, and any projects that have actually invested and generated social impact can participate.
(4) Competition Information Session: June 1 (Monday) from 1:30 to 2:30 PM at the Youth Bureau of Taoyuan City Government (2nd Floor, PBL Classroom, No. 390, Huanbei Road, Zhongli District, Taoyuan City) (If you are unable to attend this physical information session, please refer to the brochure content for other session information).
