The Hualien County Government continues to promote youth innovation and entrepreneurship, assisting teams to take root locally, and officially launches the third recruitment phase for the Hualien Startup Base. Applications for this phase will be accepted from February 23 to March 23, 2026. Creative and ambitious teams are welcome to join the startup base.
The base offers physical occupancy spaces of 3–12 ping independent offices, with shared entrepreneurial guidance, resource matching, and networking opportunities to help you accelerate product validation, expand your market, and move towards commercial growth.
Resident team partners will enjoy six major resource injections:
Resource Integration x Consulting x Space Occupancy
Business Opportunities x Technical Support x Funding Connection
There are also entrepreneurial empowerment courses, networking events, and visits outside the county. Recruitment is not limited to industry themes. As long as you are registered in Hualien, aged 45 or below, and have the ability to develop innovative products or services and business ideas, whether as a team, company, or enterprise, you are welcome to enthusiastically apply and let your entrepreneurial dreams soar in Hualien!
Startup Base Residency Team Guidelines
Application Qualifications (Meeting either the third or fourth point is sufficient)
(1) At least one team member must be 45 years old or younger.
(2) At least one team member must be registered in Hualien County.
(3) Innovative enterprises or teams intending to expand or develop in Hualien County.
(4) Companies, businesses, or factories registered in Hualien County for no more than 8 years.
Application Categories for Residency
(1) Physical Residency: Provides independent office space, public space, and coworking space, along with empowerment courses and consulting services. (Only 3 physical residency spaces remaining, space sizes detailed in the brochure)
(2) Virtual Residency: Fully subscribed for this year.
Recruitment Period
- Submission Period: From 00:00 on February 23, 2026, to 23:59 on March 23, 2026
- Preliminary Review and Supplementation: Until March 29, 2026
- Presentation Final Review: Tentatively scheduled for April 1, 2026 (Wednesday)
- Announcement of Selected List: Expected to be announced by April 13, 2026
