Ministry of Education Youth Development Agency 115th Year Young Flying Global Action Plan
The Ministry of Education Youth Development Agency encourages domestic youth to form teams for independent proposals, training them to connect with international organizations and practice local actions in Taiwan. This aims to enhance the youth's understanding of international affairs and sustainable development goals, cultivate talent in international affairs and sustainable actions, and improve the youth's international perspective and execution capabilities.
Plan Period: From the announcement date of this brochure until December 31, 115th year of the Republic of China (same below).
Team Proposal Application:
(1) Application Qualifications
1. Youth aged 18 to 35 (born between January 1, 1990, and December 31, 1997) with Republic of China nationality, forming teams of 3 to 6 people for proposals.
2. At least two-thirds of the team (rounded up, e.g., for a team of 5, at least 4) must be youth with the following qualifications:
(1) Completed training in this agency's "Young Flying Global Action Plan Training Camp," the Council of Indigenous Peoples' "Indigenous International Affairs Talent Training Program, International Indigenous Youth Forum," the Hakka Affairs Council's "Hakka Youth (Adolescent) International Affairs Delegation," or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' "International Youth Ambassador Exchange Program."
(2) Recommended by universities and colleges as students who participated in this agency's "International Sustainability and Social Innovation Talent Development Program," "University Social Responsibility (USR) Practice Program," or completed relevant credit courses in international affairs, social innovation, sustainable development, or design thinking.
3. At least one-third of the team (rounded up, e.g., for a team of 5, at least 2) must have an intermediate or higher level in the General English Proficiency Test (or other equivalent English language proficiency qualifications) or equivalent language proficiency qualifications for the intended country.
4. Not previously awarded as an outstanding team in this plan.
5. Each person can only participate in one team, and each team can only submit one proposal.
(2) Application Process: Before 12:00 noon on March 13, 115th year (Friday), complete the registration process by filling in the registration information and uploading relevant materials on the iYouth Youth International Dream Platform (website: https://iyouth.youthhub.tw). Information can be modified or documents exchanged online within the registration period, but no supplements will be notified after the deadline.
(3) Application Documents (see attached table for details)
1. Team Application Form: Filled out online as a team unit, providing relevant information about the proposal team members.
2. Action Plan 1.0: Propose an action plan with "Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)" as the main theme, from focused issues to implemented actions; from international connections to local practice.
3. Qualification Proof Documents: For those meeting the first item of the third point, second clause, please provide relevant training certificates or course recommendation proof documents.
4. Foreign Language Proficiency Proof Documents: For those meeting the first item of the third point, third clause, please provide one of the following proof documents:
(1) A copy of the passing certificate or transcript of the General English Proficiency Test or other equivalent English language proficiency qualifications.
(2) For those who have taken courses taught entirely in English but do not have the above English proficiency proof documents, a copy of the latest year's English course passing transcript and a copy of the full English instruction proof document issued by the school can be substituted.
(3) For economically disadvantaged families (middle-low or low-income households) without the above English proficiency proof documents, a copy of the latest year's school English course passing transcript can be substituted.
(4) A copy of the passing certificate or transcript of equivalent language proficiency qualifications for the intended country.
5. Special Identity Proof Documents (if applicable, upload electronic scanned files; those not meeting special identity qualifications or failing to upload successfully will be considered as having a general identity):
(1) Youth from economically disadvantaged families (middle-low or low-income households): Must attach a copy of the proof document.
(2) Indigenous youth: Must attach a copy of the household registration transcript with indigenous identity.
(3) New resident (children) youth: Must attach a copy of the household registration transcript (provided by the household registration office with "no omission of details" or a new household register, indicating the marriage registration of oneself or parents and stating the original nationality of one foreign spouse of oneself or parents).
6. Personal Data Usage Authorization Consent Form: Read, fill out, and upload.
7. Other Proof Documents: Students attending military academies must attach the school's consent document to complete the registration.
