The Hualien County Government continues to promote youth innovation and entrepreneurship, assisting teams to take root locally, and officially launches the second recruitment phase for the Hualien Startup Base. Applications for this phase will be accepted from December 1 to December 31, 2025. Teams with creativity and ambition are welcome to join the startup base.
The base provides physical occupancy space with independent offices ranging from 3 to 12 pings; if a team operates remotely or flexibly, they can choose the virtual occupancy scheme, enjoying the same entrepreneurial guidance, resource matching, and networking opportunities to help accelerate product validation, market expansion, and commercial growth.

Additionally, there are empowerment courses, networking gatherings, and visits outside the county. Recruitment is not limited to any industry theme. Startup Base Residency Guidelines
Application Qualifications (Only one of the third or fourth points needs to be met)
(1) At least one team member must be 45 years old or younger.
(2) At least one team member must be registered in Hualien County.
(3) Innovative enterprises or teams intending to expand or develop a base in Hualien County.
(4) Companies, businesses, or factories registered in Hualien County with a registration period not exceeding 8 years.
Application Residency Categories
(1) Physical Residency: Provides independent office space, public space, and co-working space, and enjoys empowerment courses and consulting services. (4 physical residency spaces remaining)
(2) Virtual Residency: Provides public space, co-working space, empowerment courses, and consulting services; no independent office space. (4 virtual residency team slots remaining)
Recruitment Period
- Submission period: From 00:00 on December 1, 2025, to 23:59 on December 31, 2025
- Preliminary review and supplementary documents: From January 1 to January 9, 2026
- Presentation re-examination: tentatively scheduled for January 14, 2026 (Wednesday)
- Announcement of selected list: Expected to be announced before February 1, 2026
