"Stan up! Qing Open Mic" Podcast Program Planning Call for Entries
In recent years, podcasts have become an important platform for Taiwanese youth to engage with public issues, expressing viewpoints and sparking discussions through audio, gradually forming an influential digital media. This event is jointly promoted by the "Hsinchu County Government Education Bureau" and Taiwan's most influential podcast hosting platform "Firstory," inviting young people nationwide to propose creative and feasible public issue plans based on their life experiences and local observations in "Hsinchu County" (themes are not limited and can cover aspects such as environmental sustainability, social welfare, cultural education, urban development, etc.). The event will select 6 outstanding proposals, with the "selected proposers" personally participating in the podcast program recording, turning real viewpoints into public voices, and co-producing with hosts and cross-disciplinary KOLs, creating a space for dialogue on youth perspectives, allowing local creativity and care to germinate and continue to spread outward.
Eligibility for Submission:
1. Participation Method: Registration can be done individually or in teams of up to five people.
2. Number of Submissions: Each group can submit 1 to 3 project proposals, but only 1 will be accepted.
3. Age Limit: Youth aged 15 (inclusive) to 45 (inclusive).
4. Nationality Restriction: Only those with Republic of China nationality can register.
Submission Themes:
Must be inspired by public issues related to "Hsinchu County" (themes are not limited and can cover aspects such as environmental sustainability, natural ecology, social welfare, cultural education, urban development, transportation infrastructure, or employment economy).
Submission Registration Method:
[Submission Specifications] Please refer to the attachment for instructions (or download the registration brochure from the event website). Documents that do not comply with the specified format will not be accepted.
[Online Registration] This event adopts online registration and submission of proposal formats via the "event website." After submission, the organizer will complete the review within 3 working days and send a "submission completion notification" by email. In response to sustainable energy-saving and paperless efforts, paper registrations will not be accepted.
[Important Notes]: If the organizer finds incomplete submitted materials during the qualification review, they will notify by phone and email for supplementary materials. Please fill in the relevant information on the registration form that can ensure contact with the participants. If participants cannot be contacted, resulting in disqualification, the registration qualification will be revoked, and participants may not object.
Event Schedule:
[Submission Deadline] From now until October 6, 2025 (Monday), submissions will not be accepted for modification or supplementation after the deadline.
[Review Announcement] The review results will be announced according to the actual review schedule, expected by October 9, 2025.
[Program Recording] After the review results are announced, program recording will take place, expected to be completed by the end of October, with the recording location tentatively set in Taipei City. If the selected proposer cannot be contacted or cannot cooperate with the recording, their prize qualification will be canceled, and the alternate list will be notified in order of scores, and so on.
