Registration Method: Please fill in the registration information on the Startup Return to Hometown Project website and submit the relevant application documents.

Registration Period: From the date of announcement until August 28, 2025.

Eligibility for Registration Categories:
1. Startup Verification Group
The startup concept must incorporate digital technology or digital tool applications and must not have passed the semi-finals (i.e., reached the finals) in the "Startup Return to Hometown Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition" from 2019 to 2024. The team must meet one of the following conditions and consist of 2 to 5 members to register:
(1) New Startup Company: Registered as a company or business under the laws of the Republic of China, established within eight years (on or after August 1, 2017).
(2) New Startup Team: A team intending to start a business that has not yet legally registered as a company or business.
2. Innovation Value-Added Group
(1) Limited to companies or businesses that have participated in the "Startup Return to Hometown Competition" from 2019 to 2024 and completed the finals.
(2) Focus on solving key issues faced in the current stage of operation or expansion process, enhancing existing products/services or market expansion, and achieving innovation value-added through digital technology to strengthen competitiveness. This includes but is not limited to aspects such as product scaling, market expansion, service stability and standardization, digital process optimization, operational model enhancement, data application, or cross-domain integration, and the ability to complete substantial verification and feedback during the project period.
