Gathering Collective Strength to Shape Hualien’s Vision｜2025 Hualien Crowdfunding Support Program
Hualien County is rich in natural resources and has a unique cultural environment, offering unlimited potential for the thriving development of diverse industries. In recent years, the Hualien County Government has actively promoted various strategic initiatives to support industrial transformation and upgrading. From idea incubation to growth acceleration, the government is committed to building a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem that injects innovation into local teams.
To further enhance the competitiveness of local enterprises and promote the development of characteristic industries, the Hualien County Government Youth Development Center launched the “Hualien Crowdfunding Support Program” for the first time in 2024. This program is specifically designed to provide professional crowdfunding guidance to local teams with strong ideas, helping aspiring young entrepreneurs transform their creativity into market-ready products and laying a solid foundation for long-term development. In the end, five teams successfully launched their projects on crowdfunding platforms. Their proposals covered areas such as art restoration, child welfare, environmental conservation, and local industry revitalization—fully showcasing Hualien’s creativity and generating over NT$2.15 million in economic value.
To continue supporting local teams, the Youth Development Center is launching the second edition of the “Hualien Crowdfunding Support Program” in 2025. Three outstanding youth teams will be selected to participate in the program and receive comprehensive crowdfunding support, including at least six one-on-one mentorship sessions, strategic planning and market analysis, and assistance with launching products or services on crowdfunding platforms. This year, the Center is also offering additional marketing resources worth over NT$280,000 to help the selected teams turn their dreams into reality in Hualien and shine on the global stage.
Application Criteria
- Individual Application: Youth aged 18 to 45 who are registered residents of Hualien County, with a copy of both sides of their National Identification Card as verification document.
- Organization Application: Companies (or limited partnerships) that are registered in Hualien County or have a registered address in Hualien County, with a copy of the business registration certificate as verification document.

｜Program Timeline｜
- Recruitment Phase: From now until 3 teams are selected (additional slots may be added depending on circumstances).
- First Application Deadline: Friday, May 2, 2025, at 23:59.
- Review Phase: This program adopts a rolling review process. Applications may be submitted starting immediately. Once the executing unit verifies that the applicant meets the eligibility criteria and proposal requirements, the application will proceed to the review stage.
- Coaching Phase: From the announcement of selected teams until November 30, 2025.
- Launch Deadline: Projects must be launched on a domestic or international crowdfunding platform by October 30, 2025. The final deadline will be confirmed during the coaching phase through discussion with the executing unit.

- The "Hualien Crowdfunding Support Program Proposal System" will be closed once all available team slots have been filled.
