近期，團隊成功入選全球僅五個名額的 Studio Monkey Shoulder 國際音樂概念計畫，在這次的 計畫中，呂歷玄帶領創作團隊走入花蓮山林與 部落，採集傳統古調、生活節奏與自然環境聲音， 從林間腳步、耆老吟唱，到柴火燃燒與遠山回音， 這些在地聲響被重新編曲、轉化為一張乘載東部 文化的聲音節奏專輯，向世界傳唱出花蓮的靈魂 與節拍。
「花蓮住著閩南、客家、阿美、太魯閣等 族群，文化底蘊很深。但我們太習以為常，反而 忘了珍惜。希望我們的努力，能讓大家重新看見 花蓮的寶貴。」這不是單純的街舞與饒舌，而是 一場從土地出發的文化行動。呂歷玄與 FLAVOR HUALIEN，用音樂與舞步，把嘻哈精神寫進 部落，也把花蓮推向更廣闊的世界。

Recently, the team was selected as one of only five groups worldwide for the international Studio Monkey Shoulder music concept program. They journeyed deep into Hualien’s mountains and tribes, collecting traditional melodies and the sounds of nature, remixing them into an Eastern Taiwan cultural album that lets the soul and rhythm of Hualien echo across the globe.
“Hualien is home to Southern Fujian, Hakka, Pangcah, Truku, and many more communities. The cultural roots here run deep. We hope our work helps the world see just how precious Hualien truly is.” This is more than street dance and rap, but rather a cultural movement born from the land itself. With FLAVOR HUALIEN, Shane is writing hip- hop into the heartbeat of the tribes, while bringing Hualien’s spirit onto a greater stage.
